The St. Cloud State men’s basketball team saw their season come to an end last Sunday as they fell to Upper Iowa University 81-61 in the second round of the NSIC/Sanford Health Tournament.

Jon Averkamp had a strong showing in the loss leading the team with 25 points on 11 of 16 shooting from the field. However the Huskies defense was unable to slow down Upper Iowa. They allowed the Peacocks to shoot 62% from the field and 55% from downtown.

Scottie Stone, Mark Hall, and Nebojsa Stanojevic all graduate this year for the Huskies.
