The SCSU Softball team traveled to Missouri this past weekend to play in the Hy-Vee Classic. Unfortunately for the Huskies they were unable to carry over the momentum from The Spring Games where they went 7-2 two weeks ago into this past weekend’s games where they went 0-6.

Despite losing all six games the Huskies were able to prove they could play with very talented teams; on Saturday the Huskies squared of with 18th ranked Missouri Western State University where they fell by a score of 14-4.

Some bright spots for the Huskies as they head into the start of NSIC play next week is both Senior Alyssa Coletto and Freshman Maya Keating are batting above .400 on the year.
