The St. Cloud State softball team completed a pair of sweeps at home defeating Minot State 7-6 and 2-1 Saturday and the University of Mary 1-0 and 6-4 Saturday. However the story of the weekend wasn’t just the wins that the Huskies picked up it was also about Megan Hedstrom’s performance in the first game against the University of Mary on Sunday. Hedstrom threw a perfect game to help the Huskies to a 1-0 win over the Marauders. With the wins the Huskies are now 20-12 overall and 4-2 in NSIC play. They will hit the road to take on Northern State University this Tuesday. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. in Aberdeen.
