The SCSU baseball team will host Augustana University this Wednesday for a pair of NSIC games.

Heading into the matchup the Huskies are 19-7 overall and 3-1 in NSIC play. SCSU is fresh off a series with Upper Iowa this past weekend where they won three of four games. They’ll look to has their offense show up early rather than later similar to this past weekend when they had trouble hitting the ball early in the series.

Coming into Wednesday Augustana is 18-11 overall but has shined within the NSIC where they boast a 12-2 record. The strong bats of the Vikings will have a tough task in front of them going up against a stacked SCSU bullpen.

First pitch at Joe Faber Field is set for 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
