The St Cloud state women’s soccer team fell in their NSIC opener 1-0 Tuesday night when they traveled to University of Minnesota Duluth. The Huskies played tough but were shutout and outshot for the second game in a row. UMD kept the pressure constant by leading in corner kicks 10-2. SCSU goalie Kelsey Christian was the saves leader for the day with three.

The Huskies continue NSIC play this weekend when they take on Concordia St. Paul on Saturday (11am) and on Sunday (2pm) the Huskies will take on Minnesota State University- Mankato. Coverage for both games will be on the KVSC Sports Stream.
