The SCSU women’s hockey team traveled to Mankato this past weekend for WCHA conference play.

Friday’s game saw the Huskies led offensively by Laura Kluge who had a goal and two assists resulting in a 4-2 win for SCSU. Dana Rasmussen, Julia Tylke, and Jenna Haeg also found the back of the net for SCSU. Goaltender Janine Alder stopped 26 shots in the game.

Julia Tylke scored the lone Huskies’ goal on Saturday as the Mavericks forced a series split with a 3-1 win. After the series SCSU moves to 2-6 overall and 1-3 in conference play.

The Huskies will be on the road in Duluth taking on the Bulldogs next weekend.
