The Lady Huskies continued their offensive fire power as they improved to 2-0 after defeating Northland College on Saturday.

The Huskies got off to a fast start, scoring 28 points in the first quarter and holding the Lumberjills to 4 points. The offensive onslaught continued for St. Cloud State, as the Huskies shot 54% from the field, 36% from the perimeter, scoring 40 points in the paint, and scoring 39 points off of turnovers. Tori Wortz led the charge for the Huskies, scoring 18 points in her second straight game. Kassidy Steen also had a big night putting up 16 points, as she didn’t miss a shot. 

Next up for the Lady Huskies is the Parrish Hotels Thanksgiving Classic in Topeka, Kansas. Game times are set for 7 p.m. on Friday against Washburn College, and Saturday at 1 p.m. against Newman University.
