The SCSU men’s hockey team swept No. 20 Omaha-Nebraska on the road this past weekend in dominating fashion.

On Friday, the Huskies put a touchdown on the scoreboard in a 7-4 final. Jake Wahlin and Mikey Eyssimont each tallied a goal and an assist with Robby Jackson getting helpers on two goals.

On Saturday the Huskies were locked in defensively in front of Freshman Goaltender David Hrenak who posted a 40 save shutout. Up front Wahlin had another big night with a goal and an assist helping the Huskies to a 5-0 victory to secure the series sweep.

With the sweep the Huskies improve to 11-2 overall and 6-2 in NCHC play.
