The SCSU women’s hockey team was swept at home this past weekend by No. 1 Wisconsin.

On Friday Wisconsin got out to an early kead when Sam Cogan found the back of the net to put the Badgers up 1-0. After great defensive play by both teams for the remainder of the game the Badgers would secure the series opening victory.

On Saturday Wisconsin was able to tally a goal in each period leading to their second win of the weekend to lock up the series sweep.

The Huskies will head into the holiday break with a record of 3-14-2 before returning to play in January hen they face Mankato State.
