Huskies Volleyball Swept by No. 1 Northern
The St. Cloud State Volleyball team (9-3, 5-1) fell in straight sets despite a hard-fought match with #1 Northern State (14-0, 6-0).
Linsey Rachel led SCSU with 9 kills and 13 digs, while Krista Kuglin and Marah Mulso each chipped in 7. Clara Krenz posted 16 digs in the match.
The Huskies held the Wolves, who entered the match tops in the country in hitting percentage at .388, to hit just .272.
Hailey Busch led Northern with 15 kills, while Jenna Reiff added 11.
The Huskies return to action on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. to take on MSUM, with Husky Den Pregame on the KVSC Sports Stream beginning at 1:45 p.m.
