St. Cloud State Volleyball (10-5, 6-3) hit .342, .312, and .295 in their three sets while holding the Augustana Vikings (5-12, 0-9) to hit a meager .060 throughout the match on the way to a straight set sweep, 25-12, 25-15, and 25-17.

SCSU found exceptional success setting to the pins, as outside hitters Linsey Rachel and Abby Templin were simply unstoppable throughout the match. Rachel put up an 18-0-34 line for a .529 hitting percentage while double-doubling with 12 digs. Templin recorded 12 kills with just 2 errors, hitting .385. Setter Maddy Torve double-doubled with 34 assists and 14 digs.

Clara Krenz led the way defensively for the Huskies, racking up 21 digs and a career-high 5 aces. She stands just two digs away from moving into fourth-all time at St. Cloud State, with a high likelihood of reaching that mark in her next match.

Augustana’s Courtney Place posted 8 kills and 7 digs, while Kaylea Ahrens added 16 digs of her own.
