St. Cloud Husky Reese Gregory pitched 3 shutout innings in relief for the St. Cloud Rox Wednesday. The Rox broke a 4-4 tie in the 7th against the Border Cats of Thunder Bay loading the bases and scoring 3 runs by hitting a batter, walking a Rox player and giving up a Danny Baer single to make the score 7-4. The Rox would go on to win by that score and improve to 2-0 on the season.

The Rox will travel to Willmar Thursday night to take on the Stingers at 7:05 p.m. before heading home Friday for the 2014  home opener. The Rox will host the Stingers at 7:05 Friday evening at Joe Faber Field. The game will feature former Minnesota Twins legend and two-time World Series champion Gene Larkin throwing out the ceremonial first pitch and signing autographs. Fireworks will happen after the game.
