The SCSU Huskies wrestling took to the mat this weekend in St. Louis Missouri and captured the schools first ever NCAA National Championship. SCSU collected 84.5 points outpacing Nebraska-Kearney who was 2nd with 76.5 points. The Huskies were led by National Champion Tim Prescott. After losing twice this season and  against T.J. North of Augustana, Prescott would finally have his revenge in St. Louis, defeating North and was crowned the national champion at 125 pounds. SCSU also had five All American wrestlers and had six wrestlers compete at the tournament.
