When and why did you get involved with KVSC?

I started listening to KVSC in the car because 88.1 is my favorite radio pre-set back home (Idaho), and KVSC played my first year in MN. I immediately loved the shows. 🙂

What show(s) do you currently host on KVSC and what shows have you hosted in the past?

I don’t host any KVSC shows yet!

What are some of the artists you consider a must-play on your show(s)?

Men I trust, Motorama, Mac DeMarco, Slowdive, Red House Painters, Hole, Slow Pulp, Drop Nineteens, (So many!).

What music do you listen to when not tuned into KVSC? I listen to a little bit of everything. Depending on my mood, I’ll listen to indie folk/pop, surf rock, shoe gaze, classical, classic rock, phonk… But mostly the first 3 or 4 of those.

What is the most embarrassing or shameful music phase you went through?

…There was once a time- A LONG TIME AGO- when I considered myself a Nickelback fan :(.

What are your hobbies/interests?

I love doing art, specifically painting. I read a lot in my free time. I like to run. I play the piano for school and for fun (classical).

What would you like to be doing in 5 years?

Ideally, I’d like to be in grad school for art somewhere abroad. Or getting a post-grad in math.
