Granite City Radio Theatre Season 14 Episode 2 with Special Guests Jaybee and Mary Jo Pehl
The 14th season of Granite City Radio Theatre continues as host Lee Adams welcomes special guests Jay Bee and Mary Jo Pehl.
Jaybee is the frontman for the longstanding Twin Cities R&B band Jaybee and the Routine. He brings his soul stylings to the Granite City Radio Theatre stage, including covers of classics such as “Let’s Stay Together.” He’s backed by the killer grooves of Collective Unconscious.
The program also features a special comedy guest. Mary Jo Pehl, best known for her time as a writer and performer on Mystery Science Theater 3000, adds a couple of wonderful comic monologues to the proceedings.
Jaybee and Mary Jo Pehl are also both contestants in Dan Barth’s onstage trivia quiz. They face off against KVSC Trivia writer Raine Hokan, one of the most formidable competitors the quiz has had.
The show is rounded out with plenty of other comedy sketches and the stirring radio drama of Shades Brigade.
