ST. CLOUD, Minn. – On September 12th at 1 PM, the St.Cloud State Huskies took on the Minot State Beavers.

The Huskies would have their best start to a game in the season so far as a volley in the box hit by midfielder Laney Haviland, would give the Huskies an early lead with only 1:39 of time expired 

Both teams would be extremely physical throughout the entire game, with a hefty number of fouls being committed. 26 combined fouls were called in total.

The game would slow down for both Minot State and St. Cloud State as the teams would struggle to hold onto possession.

Darby Allen would have a handful of crafty free kicks that almost went in, but Minot State’s goalkeeper Rebecca Sargent would make some top-class saves.

Huskies would hold onto the lead of 1-0 to end the game.
