Everything You Need to Know About the Senate District 14 Debate between Bernie Perryman and Aric Putnam

ST. CLOUD, Minn. — KVSC, St. Cloud LIVE, and UTVS will be sponsoring a debate for MN Senate District 14 on Wednesday, October 7, and here is everything you need to know before attending.
When and Where is the debate?
The debate will be taking place at 7:00 p.m. in the Ritsche Auditorium in Stewart Hall on the campus of St. Cloud State University. This event will be free and open to the public.
If I can’t attend the debate in person, how can I watch it or listen to it?
- The debate will air on live on KVSC airwaves. You can tune in by turning to 88.1 FM on your radio dial, or use the web player linked on kvsc.org.
- UTVS will livestream the debate, and will have a video available online. Tune in by clicking here, or by watching the video below.
- If you miss the debate live, the video and audio will be posted on both kvsc.org and stcloudlive.com for on-demand listening and viewing.

How can I submit a question for the debate?
The debate will include questions submitted by the public. To submit your questions, use the form found at this link. KVSC and St. Cloud LIVE reserve the right to amend, combine, or summarize the questions or reject those deemed inappropriate. Due to time constraints, please note that the moderators may not be able to get to all questions.
Who are the moderators of the debate?
KVSC News Director Shay Lelonek and Reporter Lauren Breunig of St. Cloud LIVE will be moderating the debate, and be on stage with the candidates during the event.
If I attend in person, where can I park on campus?
Amended parking regulations went into effect at the beginning of the fall semester. Because of these new regulations, parking on most lots on campus is free after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, so attendees can park in any lot on campus with the exception of D-Lot, residential lots, ADA spaces, and 15-minute spaces.
