ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The St. Cloud Tech volleyball team dropped their contest Thursday against Rocori. The Spartans rattled off three straight set wins after losing the opening set to claim the victory.

The Tigers took the first set 25-20. After falling behind early, they tied the set at 12 and went on a crucial 4-point run off the serve of Greta Anderson, building a lead they held through the finish.

However, the Spartans dominated the second and third sets, holding the Tigers to just 11 points in each. The third set was particularly dominant, opening with 5 straight points off the serve of Elliet Satterstrom. After a brief Tigers serve, Mylie Hesse served for 7 straight points, followed shortly by Chloe Labine serving for another 4 straight points.

The fourth set started promisingly for the Tigers as they scored the opening point and kept the score close early on. However, Chloe Labine served for 3 consecutive points to give the Spartans a lead they would not surrender, taking the set and winning the match 3 sets to 1.
