Archived: Highway 10 Near Clear Lake and Big Lake To Reduce Lanes
Highway 10 will be reducing lanes as part of a reclamation project.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says that the highway will become a single lane heading eastbound in Clear Lake and westbound at Lakeshore Drive in Big Lake. Businesses will remain accessible during the road work.
The lane reduction is part of a major reclamation project to improve overall safety on the highway while also repairing pipes and other underground infrastructure.
The lanes will be narrowed for 24 hours a day beginning on Friday, July 20. Lanes will continue to close until July 26th, before all lanes open again in October.
