Members of central Minnesota’s diverse community will be celebrating and explaining their background later this week.

The Great River Regional Library says "Green Card Voices" will be an interactive  exhibit that shows the stories of 18 first-generation immigrants and refugees from 12 different countries. 

The reception will be a chance to meet and speak to the people featured in the exhibit. Traditional clothing and food from different countries will be included.

The event will be held on Thursday, July 19 from 6-8 p.m. in the Mississippi Room of Great River Regional Library. The exhibit is free and available to the public.
