Two people have died in Waite Park after a driver was going the wrong way down Division Street Monday.

The Waite Park Police Department says 28-year-old Charlie Barnett of St. Cloud was driving west in the east bound lane around 7 p.m. when he crashed head-on near the intersection of 4^th Ave South.  

The crash killed both passengers of the victim vehicle. 61-year-old Richard Tomlinson of Grantsburg Wisconsin Died at the scene and 77-year-old Roger Nelson of Clearwater later died in at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Barnett is facing charges of Criminal Vehicular Operation, Reckless Driving, and other charges are still possible as the investigation continues.
