Two crashes took place just hours apart on an Albertville highway on Saturday.

The Minnesota State Patrol says that the two crashes took place on Interstate 94 heading west towards St. Cloud. The first crash happened just west of Labeaux Avenue. 28-year-old Ashley Lucas struck another car from behind, pushing it into a motorcycle. 

The second crash took place four hours later at the Albertville exit of I-94. 53-year-old Pero Petrovic of Fargo lost control and rolled as it drove over the median and was hit by another car in the eastbound lanes. The crash caused the I-94 eastbound lanes to be closed for 30 minutes.

Lucas was transported to St. Cloud Hospital with minor injuries. Petrovic and his passenger were taken to North Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
