A woman was killed after driving her car the wrong way Friday night.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 31-year-old Brittany Ranck of Avon was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of Highway 10 in Clear Lake. While driving the wrong way, she collided with a pickup truck driven by 27-year-old Dustin Gilyard of St. Cloud. Alcohol was found to be involved in the crash.

Ranck died in the crash, and Gilyard was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
