Archived: Railroad Crossing Signal Repairs In St. Cloud May Cause Traffic Delays

Repair work on multiple railroad crossing signal arms throughout the St. Cloud area may cause traffic delays over the next two weeks.

Crews from the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation will begin the repairs next Monday, March 17, according to the St. Cloud City Engineers Office. The repairs are scheduled to be completed on Thursday, April 1.

BNSF crews will be working on signal arms at railroad crossings at 4 1/2 Street Northeast, 7th Street Southeast and 15th Avenue Southeast. As well as crossings at East Saint Germain Street and Highway 301 near the Minnesota Correctional Facility and Highway 10.

Traffic flaggers will be at each railroad crossing during the periodic repairs, traffic delays are expected.
