Severe weather conditions have forced the City of St. Cloud to declare a snow emergency effective at 12:01 a.m. Friday morning.

The National Weather Service is predicting 5 to 7 inches of snow along with 15-25 mph winds and gusts near 40 mph this evening and Friday morning.

The City of St. Cloud would also like to remind people that when the snow emergency begins at 12:01 a.m. Friday, parking regulations will be enforced and towing of illegally parked vehicles will occur.

The emergency will be in effect for 72 hours unless canceled due to weather condition improving.
