A boy was arrested Friday morning after allegedly carrying a dangerous weapon on a school bus.

According to St. Cloud Police, School District 742 officials informed them that a 14-year-old boy potentially had a dangerous weapon with him on the school bus.

Officers safely took the weapon from the juvenile who was later arrested and placed in secure detention.

There were no injuries reported from the incident.
