Archived: Stearns History Museum Seeking New Logo Design in Competition
Stearns History Museum is holding its first ever “Design Off” competition Monday, February 10th to create a design that will represent the museum’s new vision.
According to the Stearns History Museum Executive Director Tim Hoheisel, the design should make the museum feel like the “Front Porch” of Stearns County.
The winning design must be effective without color and scalable to fit everything from business cards to pens and billboards. The finished product must be able to be recreated and delivered as a vector file.
All designers will be allowed to set up at the museum between 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Designing will start at 5:00 p.m. and must be finished at 7:00 p.m. A gallery walk will be open to the public until 7:30 p.m. with the winning design being announced at the end of the showcase.
The winner will receive a $500 reward and will have their design used in museum marketing.
To enter the contest, all designers must RSVP by 5:00 p.m. Thursday by contacting Tim Hoheisel at 320-253-8424 or by e-mail thoheisel@stearns-museum.org.
