A St. Cloud organization is hosting an annual tradition that helps bring awareness and financial support to community members that go hungry.

The Empty Bowls Soup Benefit continues this weekend with a soup feed and silent auction. All proceeds from this event are going to help Place of Hope Ministries to replenish the Anne’s Meals Fund which provides more than 7,200 meals a month to those who are hungry and in need.

Participants in this event are able to enjoy music, tasty soup donated from area restaurants and choose a handmade bowl to take home as a reminder that someone else’s bowl is always empty.

The Empty Bowls Soup Feed takes place on Sunday, March 30th from 12:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Calvary Community Church in south St. Cloud.
