A fire was started at a St. Cloud high school on Wednesday.

The St. Cloud Fire Department was alerted to an accidental construction-related fire at Apollo High School just after 7 p.m. The fire was contained to one classroom, but many other classrooms and hallways were damaged by smoke.

No one was injured. The fire sprinkler system was being worked on at the time of the fire and was not operational.
