The SCSU football looked to bounce back after a week 2 loss and did in a big way. The Huskies secured a win on the road in St. Paul when they beat Concordia 56-21.

Dwayne Lawhorn led the way offensively for SCSU completing 18 of 25 attempts in the air for 254 yards and also ran the ball 11 times picking up 73 yards on the ground resulting in three passing touchdowns and one rushing.

The Huskies as a team picked up 27 first downs with a whopping 710 yards from the line of scrimmage with an explosive day by the SCSU offense that fell flat the week before.

With the win SCSU improves to 2-1 on the year and are back in action this Saturday at Husky Stadium when they host Augustana.
