Archived: Free Tickets Available At Doors Tonight–Come to SCSU’s Ritsche Auditorium to Rock It Local

twilighthours.jpgKVSC 88.1FM presents Rockin’ It Local: A Minnesota Music Showcase.  The free concert headlines The Twilight Hours featuring John Munson and Matt Wilson with special guests Roma di Luna.  The free concert is Friday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. in Ritsche Auditorium on the St. Cloud State campus.  Tickets are needed to attend this free concert.  They’re available online at scsutickets.com and the Atwood Center information desk.

The Twilight Hours’ new album Stereo Night has been described as having "lavish harmonies, emotionally resonant lyricism, and some fiery fretwork…" (City Pages).  The duo has been together since the late 1980’s splitting ways in the mid-90’s.  Wilson went out on his own and Munson formed Semisonic with Wilson’s brother Dan.

Roma di Luna has a traditional folk sound with a modern take.  "Their edgy, starry-night country/folk music is nicely filled in with softly plunked banjo, pretty violin and pristine electric guitar parts" (Star Tribune).

This free concert is paid for with support from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
