St. Cloud State men’s basketball standout Gage Davis was named an all-american honorable mention by the Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association this week. He is the second Husky to receive this honor, the other being Matt Schneck back in the 2010 season.

Davis led the NSIC in scoring last season with a 22.5 point per game average and placed third in rebounds with 8.9 per game. Davis’ 743 points scored lands him just one point shy of the Huskies’ all-time record for points scored in a single season.

Davis also earned a spot on the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division II Central District First Team after leading the Huskies to a 19-14 record in 2016-17.
