St. Cloud State Volleyball (9-4) fell to #12 Augustana (9-4) in 4 sets on Friday in a very tight match.

SCSU dropped the first two sets 25-20 each, notched a 25-15 victory in the third, but then lost the clinching fourth set 25-21. The Huskies hit just .095 in the match, and were led by Redshirt Freshman Abby Templin, as she recorded 11 kills while hitting .267. Freshman Taylor Olstad and Sophomore Clara Krenz each played well in the back row, with 16 and 31 digs respectively.

Augustana hit .158 in the match, with Courtney Place leading the way with 8 digs, 4 blocks, and 15 kills on a .206 hitting mark. Tahlyr Banks had 21 digs to lead the defense, and Bailey Koch blocked 5 swings.
