The 9-3 Huskies will face a pair of ranked Northern Sun foes this weekend when they take on #12 Augustana (8-4) and #18 Wayne State (7-4). Wayne State upended Augie on Tuesday in 5 sets, and the Huskies will get their chance to take down the two NSIC squads on Friday at 6:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.

 

Augustana is led by a group of 4 standout hitters. Courtney Place, Lauren Waite, Ashley Wilson, and Bailey Koch each have at least 100 kills on the year, and pose a serious threat on the attack. Setter Alex Banker slots in at 6th in the conference in assists per set with a mark of 10.81. Tahlyr Banks also ranks 6th in a category, as she holds up the back row with 4.62 digs per set. Wilson, who has 125 kills on a .329 hitting percentage, and Koch both rank in the top 10 in blocks per set.

 

Wayne State comes into the weekend leading the NSIC in blocks per set, led by conference block per set leader Maria Wortmann. On the attack, Erin Gross and Katie Stephens each have notched over 100 kills on the year. Gross and Jaci Brahmer are both in the top 10 in blocks per set.
