The SCSU Softball team recently announced their captains for the upcoming season. Senior Libby Bingham and Junior Morgan Emmans will take the leadership positions for the Huskies this year.

Bingham, a Prior Lake, MN native, is entering her fourth year with the program after transferring from Bemidji State early in her collegiate career. She’s been at the shortstop position each of the past two seasons. Emmans, from Blaine, MN, is entering her third year with the program. She’s been the mainstay at third base for the Huskies the past 55 games.

KVSC Sports Director AJ Fredrickson had the opportunity to sit down with Head Coach Paula U’Ren to discuss her new captains and some other events the team has in the future.
