Archived: KVSC 88.1FM to Celebrate Homegrown Music
KVSC 88.1FM is continuing its tradition of supporting local artists by presenting its annual Minnesota Music Day. On October 26, from 6 a.m. – midnight, KVSC is only broadcasting Minnesota music. This day is designed to pay tribute to the many musicians originating from St. Cloud, the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota.
At 10 p.m., Minneapolis-based acappella and experimental band Heatbox is performing live in the KVSC Performance Studio as part of Monday Night Live. Heatboxes’ music is described as James Brown meets Bobby McFerrin.
At 11 p.m., during its New Release of the Week feature, 88.1FM is airing the new album from Halloween, Alaska.
