The SCSU men’s hockey team swept the Colorado College Tigers this past weekend.

On Friday the Huskies had multiple players net their first goal of the season en route to their 6-1 victory. Will Borgen and Blake Lizotte both scored their first goal of the season.

Saturday saw Jeff Smith make his first back to back starts in goal for SCSU this year as well as the Huskies continue to thrive offensively. Captain Judd Peterson tallied his first goal on the year after a long drought on an empty net opportunity and Luke Jaycox joined in on the scoring party as well getting his first career goal off a shot from the blue line. SCSU would go on to secure the sweep over CC with a 5-1 win.

The Huskies improve to 9-2-0 on the year and have next weekend off for Thanksgiving break.
