Archived: Parkers Farm Food Recalled

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture is alerting consumers to avoid eating certain products made by Parkers Farm.

On their website, Parkers Farm issued voluntary recall on March 21st due to a possible listeria contamination. A few examples of their products are Parkers peanut butter, salsa and happy farms cheese products.

Their products are distributed nationwide. Some retailers that carry there products are Cub, Rainbow, Byerly’s, Target, and Wal-Mart.

Symptoms of Listeria can cause fever, severe headache, neck stiffness, and nausea. Infants, elderly and pregnant women are more susceptible to contracting the serious, sometimes fatal infection.

Any consumers who believe they may be ill after eating the products should contact their health care provider.
