KVSC’s 50th Birthday Celebration ON AIR Part 1
Happy 50th Birthday to KVSC Radio!
On June 10, 2017 we celebrated 50 years of being Your Sound Alternative with a day full of special programming. As the open house down in the little basement that bumps packed our studios, we heard some distantly familiar voices grace the airwaves . . . and here they are again for your listening pleasure!
In Part 1 of 4, we catch Andy Marlow, Merle T. Pulley, Jim Peher, Barbara Winfield, Peggy Keane, Boby McGee and A LOT of other late 60’s and early 70’s folks talking about the early days of the station, the shenanigans, the friendships, and the launch into the real world that KVSC gave each of them.
(FYI: there are some mild technical difficulties at the beginning for a few minutes, but give it some patience and the audio totally smooths out . . . it wouldn’t be KVSC without it!)
