Happy Birthday to KVSC!
And here we’ve got the 2nd Part of KVSC’s 50th Birthday On Air Celebration!
Over the first hour, “Sporties” Gina Carlson, John Peterson, and Brain Gardner wax poetic on the variety of “near puck” experiences they encountered during their time at KVSC Sports and play some tasty jams.
In the second hour, KVSC’s first female Program Director from 1968, Sue Grove, Marje Gustafson, Steve Kaiser, Chris Satre-Ball tell us about police scanners, schlepping cables to Atwood, teletype machines, the WATTS line, and how as much as we think times change, they really stay the same.
