KVSC’s 50th Birthday Celebration Oral Histories: David Simpson

Over the past 50 years, KVSC has been the training ground for broadcast journalists throughout Minnesota and the nation, and we’ve also been the playground for musically entranced community volunteers and students. With a little bit of editing (but not too much) these are their stories . . .

David Simpson got started with KVSC in 1968 during his time at St. Cloud State University learning to become a teacher. After the Vietnam War, he got involved with radio stations in California.  The imaginary process of radio is still very important to him!

This program is funded in part by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Legacy Grant.
