Over the past 50 years, KVSC has been the training ground for broadcast journalists throughout Minnesota and the nation, and we’ve also been the playground for musically entranced community volunteers and students. With a little bit of editing (but not too much) these are their stories . . .
DJ Skinny D (aka Derek Ehlert) has been a longtime host of KVSC’s Urban Invasion Hip Hop program, is a champion hugger, and once nearly ate a three pound can of chocolate pudding. His numerous interviews with the giants of hip hop both in Minnesota and nationally can be found on our website all throughout this page.
