KVSC’s 50th Birthday Celebration Oral Histories: Wayne Bergerson

Over the past 50 years, KVSC has been the training ground for broadcast journalists throughout Minnesota and the nation, and we’ve also been the playground for musically entranced community volunteers and students. With a little bit of editing (but not too much) these are their stories . . .

Wayne Bergerson came to KVSC as a college student in 1983 and stayed for the next three decades.  The long time host of the Frets program pioneered our international broadcast partnership with the Winnipeg Folk Festival and currently lives waaaaaaaaay out in the country.

This program is funded in part by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Legacy Grant.
