The Untold Story of Dinner Theater at Anton’s Fish and Whiskey

In today’s installment of the Untold Stories of Central Minnesota, Arts & Cultural Heritage Producer Jeff Carmack takes us out to Anton’s Restaurant to catch a dinner theater performance filled with rum balls, puns, and catchy music.  It’s a new tradition at one of the oldest businesses in central Minnesota, and one that Deer Camp writer Gene Jurek has seen grow over the past couple of years.  Jay Ramos, Della Strand, Pat Curto, and Darwin Howe join Gene as they talk with Jeff about performing in an old speakeasy on the banks of the Sauk River with the ever present aroma of popovers and walleye!

This program is funded in part by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Legacy Grant.
