The St. Cloud State Football team fell short against the UMD Bulldogs 34-27 Saturday afternoon. The Huskies would face a 22 point deficit heading into the 4th quarter before they would turn on the jets and almost complete the unbelievable comeback. Quarterback Nate Meyer threw for a career best 424 yards against UMD to go along with 4 TDs. The Huskies Defense also played their part by holding preseason NSIC player of the year and reigning NSIC player of the week, Drew Bauer to 191 yards through the air and less than 100 yards on the ground. The Huskies return to action Saturday, October 17, to take on the Minot State Beavers at Husky Stadium.
