SCSU athletics announced earlier this week that they have hired Sam Kettenhofen  as the interim head coach for both men’s and women’s track and field teams. Kettenhofen has spent the last two seasons as a graduate assistant with St Cloud State’s track and field teams. He is a 2013 graduate of the University of Minnesota. During his time as a gopher he participated in the long jump, 4×100-meter relay and javelin team.

Kettenhofen holds a Level 1 Certification from USA Track and Field. The hiring comes after the previous coach, Erik Hannenburger recently took a job with South Dakota State University.
