The SCSU men’s hockey team will face off against Bemidji State University this Friday in the first round of the 4th annual North Star College Cup. The Huskies won last year’s tournament and will start their title defense at 4pm against the Beavers and will face an opponent of the UMD Bulldogs and Minnesota Golden Gophers matchup depending on the outcome of both games.

The Huskies enter play this weekend with an overall record of 11-12-1 with a 6-9-1 record in conference play. Bemidji States will head into the Xcel Energy Center with a 16-9-3 overall record with a 16-4-2 mark in conference play.
