St. Cloud State Volleyball (11-7, 7-5) fell in four sets to #7 UMD (16-5, 9-3) on Tuesday evening. The Huskies were outhit .091 to .331 in the match and committed 38 errors. 

Tremendous serving runs by Minnesota-Duluth’s Emily Torve (50 assists, 6 digs, 3 blocks, 3 kills) and Sydney Lanoue (9 digs, 1 ace) put away the Huskies in the first and third sets.

Redshirt sophomore Abby Templin tied a career-high with 14 kills in the loss, while Linsey Rachel added 9.

Kate Berg double-doubled for UMD with 14 kills and 18 digs on .333 hitting, Hanna Meyer hit .440 with 13 kills and 3 blocks, and Makenzie Morgan recorded 12 kills, 8 digs, and 3 blocks. Middle hitters Sarah Kelly (.353, 9 blocks) and Abby Thor (.273, 4 blocks) each kicked in 9 kills for the Bulldogs.

The Huskies return to Halenbeck Hall on Friday to take on Upper Iowa University at 6:00 p.m.
