SCSU Volleyball Swept by Wayne State
The SCSU Volleyball team (9-5, 5-3) was swept in straight sets by Wayne State College (13-4, 5-3) on Friday evening, 25-20, 25-19, and 25-19.
The Huskies were outhit .117 to .241, and struggled to stay in system throughout the match. Unforced errors dominated the Huskies’ box score, as they recorded 24 attack errors to the Wildcats’ 8, 7 service errors, and 6 receiving errors.
Linsey Rachel led all scorers with 15 kills on .220 hitting with 9 digs and posted a tremendous .969 in serve receive. Clara Krenz added 17 digs, while Taylor Olstad racked up 16.
Jaci Brahmer dominated for Wayne, going 12-0-17 (.706) with 6 blocks.
The Huskies will take on Augustana University on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with Husky Den Pregame on the KVSC Sports Stream at 1:50 p.m.
