The St. Cloud University women’s soccer team has been predicted to place ninth in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).

Huskies Athletics says that the roster will be mostly the same as last year, with their top goalkeeper and eight of their top ten goal scorers returning. This includes Huskies scoring leader Hannah Marion, a junior forward who posted five goals and ten points last season.

This prediction by the coaches poll is the same as the team’s overall result last season. The squad finished 8-8-2 with a ninth place finish in the NSIC.

The team opens their schedule later this month on Thursday, August 30 against Northern Michigan University. The home opener is on Sunday, September 9 against the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
